Richard Sketch-Hunt

It's been 25 years since one of my favorite Muppeteers passed away: the legendary Richard Hunt. A man who joined the Muppet troupe just out of high school and immediately became one of the leading Muppeteering greats. His characters were and still are some of my favorite of the Henson batch. Why is that? I guess aside from him giving such a strangeness to his performances, in a good way of course, I guess it's because brought such a simplistic and charming childlike innocence (maybe that has to do with him joining at a young age). I didn't wanna make a picture of Richard surrounded by his characters (since a certain Jonathan already dibs-ed that idea), so what would I do instead? Simple. A jam session of his characters either playing instruments or singing. I still kept that mentality when doing each of these sketches. Speaking of which, I would've made this a fully-colored picture, but even though it's been a week since I finished my big Disney project, I fell my hands still needed a bit of a rest since coloring is a longer process than pencil-sketching. Besides, most of these were already pre-drawn so I compiled all of them together into a sketchdump. Or, as the title says, a sketch-HUNT, if you will (yeah, I know it's a forced pun). Maybe I'll do that jam session picture later on with Richard's birthday or you guys can create your own if you like it. What's YOUR favorite Richard Hunt character or moment?
